The Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education is now accepting applications for superintendent. The board is seeking “an outstanding educational leader to serve as the District’s superintendent beginning July 1, 2020.”

2020欧洲杯线上投注The link sends applicants to the website of HYA (Hazard Young Attea Associates), the search firm hired by the board to find a successor to Superintendent Raquel Reedy, who announced her plan to retire at the end of the school year.

Applications are due by Feb. 24. Applicants should be aware that all submitted applications fall under the Inspection of Public Records guidelines in New Mexico and will be released to the public.  

The job overview includes results from community meetings and an online survey that collected public input regarding the qualities and characteristics desired in the new superintendent2020欧洲杯线上投注. The criteria will be used throughout the search process of vetting and screening candidates, as well as forming the outline for the Board interviews.

  • Is a systems thinker that coordinates the overall direction of APS and aligns central office operations and processes.

Once the recruitment window closes at the end of February, applicant names will be released to the public, semi-finalists will be chosen, background checks will be completed and the board will conduct its first round of interviews. From there, finalists will be chosen for second interviews and public engagement.
